Adapted from Aoshima, the Christian Radich has a storied past. Launched in 1937 as a training vessel for a Norwegian school, it embarked on its maiden voyage to North America before the outbreak of World War II. During the war, it served in the Norwegian Navy, was captured by the German Navy, and used as a submarine accommodation ship. After the war, the allies recovered and returned the damaged ship to Norway. In 1947, it was fully restored and resumed its voyages, participating in shows and races. Today, the Christian Radich is still used for training, a testament to its enduring beauty and significance in Norway.
