Between recording albums, touring, going on surf trips, and running the Costa Mesa Conceptual Art Center, Costa Mesa's Alex Knost manages to squeeze in some time to shape some select sleds.

New from BMT this sled is a combination of a couple different design ideas we've been seeing from Alex lately. This one off model is reminiscent of the square nose boards Herbie Fletcher was shaping back in the day. The rails are on the fuller side and pushed down with a hard edge traveling the length of the board. The bottom contour consists of a slight roll in the nose flattens out towards the remainder of the board. The overall rocker of the board is pretty flat with just a touch of flip in the nose.
