Artist/Tribe: Harrison Jim (Navajo)

Harrison was born in 1952 and is half Navajo and half Irish. He learned silversmithing from his grandfather. He also took silversmithing classes by Jesse Monongya and Tommy Jackson. His life is very traditional; therefore, his jewelry is very traditional. He is known for his simple and clean designs.

Stone: Apache Blue Turquoise

Apache Blue Turquoise mine, also known as Turkey Track, is a small mine located in the Candelaria hills of Nevada. Mined by the Ottesons, most of the Apache Blue Turquoise being extracted is an absolutely beautiful blue stone with a gorgeous black web matrix, as well as brown to brown/orange matrix.
