Artist/Tribe: Alex Sanchez (Navajo/Zuni)

Alex was born in 1967 and is half Navajo and half Zuni. He learned to silversmith from his brother-in-law, Myron Pantewa. Alex's petroglyph designs come from Chaco Canyon. All of the designs and figures have meanings from over 1,000 years ago. Their ancestors left a lot of messages for us.

Golden Hill Turquoise also known as Desert Lavender is the most chemically pure turquoise to be found in the world, and its color and consistency is one of the most vibrant and durable. It showcases a Light Blue Stone with Lavender Hues. Its matrix can range from a deep Lavender to deep Reds, Browns or Rust Colors. Golden Hill Turquoise is mined in Khazakhstan, Russia. This Turquoise made its first appearance in the US in 2018.
