A  nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with all three spools (3/4, 5/6, and 7/8). Good used condition with some moderate cosmetic wear to the frame and the 7/8 spool. The 3/4 spool appears unused. The 5/6 spool has 1/2" long area where the spool edge has a dent and scrape, presumably from a drop, but I tested it in the frame and it spins perfectly. Set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW. With all three spools you can easily tailor the reel to your needs and conditions, and both the retrieve direction spool change are quick and easy. Carbon fiber disk drag system built for serious stopping power. Type III anodizing for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8" smooth-riding aerospace bearings. Complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. The snap-reverse system instantly reverses to left- or right-hand retrieve with the push of a button on the inside of the frame. The reel and spools come in a single blue cordura case with foam lining to accommodate the entire package.
