Biomin Cal-Boro Concentrate contains a mixture of calcium and boron designed for soil or foliar applications. It is highly bio-available and an excellent source of two essential elements that work together to build strong, healthy plants and fruit. Boron is critical for calcium uptake and mobility and this combination increases the effect of both nutrients. Boron also aids the conversion of nitrogen and carbohydrates into more complex substances such as protein, affects the transfer of sugars within the plant, exerts a marked influence on cell division, and aids in the formation of membranes. This product is OMRI-certified organic and compatible with most fertilizers and pesticides.

Biomin Cal-Boro can be applied to fruit trees, field crops, vegetables, greenhouse crops, potatoes, grapes, citrus, and ornamental gardens.

DIRECTIONS:

For best results, apply when the crop is in the active growing stage, after irrigation or natural rainfall. For foliar application, dilute it with at least 100 times water.  This product has rapid leaf uptake and utilization when used as a foliar spray.

SOIL APPLICATION

Can be applied before or at planting as banding or broadcast. The application rate is 1 qt. to 1 gal./ ac. (2.5-10 l/ha) depending on soil conditions and application methods. For maintenance, 1 qt./ac. (2.5 l/ha) is recommended. Dilute with enough water to cover the entire acre.

FOLIAR APPLICATION

FIELD AND ROW CROPS: Apply 1-3 qt./ac. (2.5-7.5 l/ha), when crops are about 6-12 in. (15-30 cm) high or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application in 2-4 weeks if necessary.

FRUIT TREES AND GRAPES: Apply 1-3 qt./ac. (2.5-7.5  l/ha) starting at bud break or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application in about 4 weeks if necessary.

VEGETABLE CROPS: Apply 1-3 qt./ac. (2.5-7.5 l/ha) at about 2-4 weeks after emergence, or when deficiency symptoms appear. Repeat the application in 1-3 weeks if necessary.

ALMONDS, WALNUTS, PISTACHIOS, AND OTHER NUT CROPS: Apply 1-3 qt./ac. (2.5-7.5 l/ha) before bloom. Repeat the application if necessary.
