• They were foretold that they would be freed from the curse by the mercy of Supreme God Vishnu.
• These cursed trees stood outside Krishna’s house in Gokul village.
• As a mischievous child, Krishna was once tied to a wooden mortar by his mother, Yashoda, as punishment for his pranks.
• Krishna crawled with the mortar, which got stuck between the two trees, causing them to break and release the cursed demi-gods, thus revoking their curse.
