Introducing the MRGB5000, a high-end G-SHOCK watch based on the first-ever G-SHOCK watch model, crafted with the state-of-the-art metals and meticulous finishes that are the hallmark of the MR-G flagship line.

A study in metal and titanium alloy craftsmanship, this breakthrough high-end timepiece features case and bezel components made with the super-hard titanium alloy, Ti64. The bezel top is fashioned from COBARION, an alloy that is four times harder than pure titanium and a brilliant gleam comparable to platinum.

The bezel on this G-SHOCK watch alone consists of 25 different components, each individually polished for a stunning detailed texture. The Multi-Guard Structure incorporates flat springs and silicone buffers to ensure outstanding shock absorption for this multi-component bezel, protecting the dedicated MR-G module with a gold-plated retainer plate for the circuit board.

A Nod to the Original DW5000C-1B

In homage to the original DW5000C-1B, one of the color options for the very first G-SHOCK watch, the face of the MRG-B5000R-1 projects the iconic brick pattern and circular lines in gold color, while the case is finished in a black DLC coating. This design is complemented with an extremely comfortable Dura Soft band made of fluoro rubber, with insert-molding of titanium components that enhance the strength of the band’s connection to the case. The top of the band is finished with textured SHOCK RESIST symbols, and the underside echoes the dial’s brick pattern.

This beautiful watch celebrates the splendor of metal and also delivers when it comes to function, with radio-controlled calibration and smartphone pairing via Bluetooth®.
