Description

A new crop of gourmet vinegars has arrived and become hot ingredients in the kitchen.  It offers new flavors and health benefits such as antioxidant properties recognized since 400 B.C.  Kim’C Market selected three tasty fruit vinegars that you can use for salad, drink, and home cooking.  All of the fruits and natural honey used are from Jeju Island, famous for its clean environment.  They are a product of traditional fermentation methods.

Many and easy use cases.  You can simply replace regular vinegar you have in your pantry with any of these three.  At a 5 to 1 ratio of water or sparkling water to fruit vinegar, you can create your own delicious drink.  This is also an excellent salad dressing that pleases your palate.   

Tangerine Balsamic: Jeju tangerine and yeast only.  Fermented.  This is thick, less acidic, sweeter than balsamic vinegar.  A beautiful pair for yogurt, salad dressing, and cool drinks in summer.  

자연이 준 기적의 물이라고 불리우는 식초.  그러나 식초를 쉽게 섭취할 수 있는 방법이 드물죠.  곡물이나 과일을 천천히 발효시켜 만들기에 원재료의 상태와 제조 방식도 중요하고요.  

그래서 김씨마켓에서는 쉽고 맛있게 즐길 수 있는, 품질 좋은 발효 식초를 골랐습니다. 제주자연초의 한라봉초, 청귤초, 제주귤사믹은 모두 청정지역 제주에서 나고 자란 청귤과 한라봉, 감귤을 이용해 전통방식으로 빚어낸 발효 식초에요.  제주산 벌꿀과 과일착즙액을 더해 발효 식초 특유의 신맛을 잡고 맛의 밸런스를 맞췄습니다.  

일반 식초 대신 쓰실 수도 있고 물이나 탄산수에 섞어서 드시면 훌륭한 음료수가 되지요.  탄산수나 물, 원액의 비율을 9:1 정도로 하면 맛이 좋습니다.  샐러드 드레싱으로 활용하실 수도 있고요.  제주에서만 맛볼수 있었던 특별한 과일 식초로 건강함과 맛을 느껴보세요. 

제주 귤사믹: 포도식초인 발사믹은 이탈리아어로 “향기가 좋다"는 발사믹(balsamico)에서 유래했는데요.  포도 대신 한라산자락에서 귀하게 길러낸 제주 감귤로 발효 숙성을 시켰어요.  질감이 걸쭉하고 단맛이 있으며 끝에 발효 식초의 독특한 맛을 느끼실 수 있어요.  샐러드 드레싱으로, 요구르트 위에 얹어서 혹은 시원한 에이드로 즐겨보세요.
