Includes a pair of AudioControl A65CS2 component speakers that will fit the rear openings on 1982-92 Camaros & Firebirds. If you don't already have them, you will need the adapters in the options (convertibles will need modifications). The adapter allows you to use a component speaker system instead of a 6"x9". With a mounting depth of 2.15" these speakers with the adapter plates fit with no modifications on coupes. By using component style speakers, the tweeter won't protrude into the sail panel covers which is the problem with a lot of 6x9 speakers. They can take up to 100 watts RMS or 200 watts peak. Altitude Series speakers are built with silk dome tweeters for smooth high-frequency reproduction, while precision-molded glass fiber cones fill out the low end accurately. Butyl rubber surrounds add control and aid in low-frequency performance, for tight bass response. The slim steel baskets are designed to fit easily in many vehicles. Frequency response: 65-20,000 Hz. These speakers work best with an amplifier.
