Starting in Whyalla and continuing through Port Augusta to near Canberra, the sisters repeatedly flee his advances. Despite knowing they are afraid, Wati Nyiru persists—singing, dancing, and following them as they camp. The painting reflects key locations where the sisters stopped during their long journey to escape him.
