Heriz carpets, with its high wool quality, are well known for their durability and hardiness, and are very suitable for hallways and dining-rooms. Traces of copper in the drinking water of sheep produces high quality wool that is far more resilient than wool from other areas. Heriz rugs are renowned for their traditional designs of bold geometric patterns, with large medallions often dominating. The typical Knot density of Heriz rug is 80,000 – 160,000 knots/sqm.
