DESCRIPTION

The BA2-212-3 is loaded with 8 separate neodymium cone drivers and brings a unique and dynamic signature response to the Bass Array line. Overall tonal characteristics include big, fast, tight lows, transitioning into tame mids with smooth high/mid presence. Its tonal signature is a wide and deep foundation, warm and evenly weighted mids though to its top end clarity.

Designed into the same cabinet size as our BA2-410-3 cabinet, this innovative design blends the punch and quickness of two premium offset neodymium 12” drivers, in a vented bass reflex enclosure, and the performance and pattern control of a 6 x 3” Neodymium paper cone driver line array element. The placement of the line array in front, and between the two offset 12” woofers further provides an extremely broad projection pattern, immediate quickness and clarity that is not possible with many stacked 2 x 12″ designs.

Also due to line array principles the all-important mid and high frequencies have a much wider horizontal dispersion with a more controlled vertical pattern. This offers the most even projection possible around the perimeter of the stage and audience.

• Broad horizontal dispersion far exceeding conventional woofer/tweeter combinations.
• Providing a much more open, smoother midrange and high frequency response because of the ideal natural characteristics of the mid-high frequency array when compared to a conventional tweeter that cannot reproduce the crucial midrange frequencies without pattern control or un-natural distortion.

The BA2-212-3 is an extremely versatile, lightweight (47 lbs) 800 watt, 4-ohm cabinet, and is ideal for those players that need the highest powered, most dynamic performance possible, in a single, compact, cabinet design.
