Discover the epic Battle of Leyte Gulf with our crafted Battleship Haruna model! This model captures the essence of Haruna's final showdown as part of the Sho-1 Go operation's main unit. Following our previously released 1/350 scale model depicting Haruna during the Mariana battle, we now bring to life its appearance in its last battle. Constructed at the Kawasaki Shipyards in Kobe, Battleship Haruna was a key player in the Third Battleship Division from 1941. It underwent two major refits before the Pacific War, playing a crucial role in escorting aircraft carriers, providing air attack cover, and more. Despite surviving the Sho-1 Go operation, Haruna met its end in 1945.
- Unlike standard 1/700 scale warship models, the Haruna stands out with its exceptional detail, attributed to its larger size.
- This model features a left and right partition type hull, allowing for a full hull type finish.
