This is Michael Arenal's take on Neal Purchase Jr.'s Duo design. The Duo combines feelings of a twin fin and a single fin. Arenal's Duo has a full outline with a rounded nose and broad, round pin tail with the wide point set a few inches up from center. The bottom contour begins with a light roll in the nose before transitioning to a single concave followed by a spiral vee that flattens out near the tail. The rail foil starts with the rails slightly turned up in the nose and dropping down towards the middle of the board with a hard, tucked edge running out the tail. The rocker profile is fairly flat and well balanced. If you dig the feeling of shreddy single fins we definitely recommend taking this Duo for a spin, it works well in punchy surf with tons of drive and hold.
