The workshop will explore the history of Asian characters and calligraphy, as well as exhibitions, museums, and galleries, virtually around the world. Exploring the traditional way to use ink and materials. Conservation and framing would also be covers for asian works of art.

Perfect for curious novices and for artists with an interest in meaningful mark-making. No asian language experiences necessary. Just open your mind and playfulness.

All art supplies use during the in-person class are included.
Participants have the option to purchase basic calligraphy kits from our art lab at a student discount.
