This classic road bike is built with a top end Columbus Life tube set, with a level top tube and a geo for all the miles you want to pile on. Full Custom SWOOD frames are generally a 3-4month lead time affair, but if this scratches your itch you can skip the wait. 

We built this to show off at the Philly Bike Expo last year - and have shown it off at several events since - but it's brand new and never ridden. The finish is pristine, with brushed brass downtube and headtube badges shining through a high-gloss sky blue powder coat.

The parts selection threads the needle of wide range and simplicity. The big, smooth, and reliable 50 tooth Wolftooth 1x chainring with the SRAM 12s XPLR 10-44 Cassette gives you the same top and bottom end as a 50/34 2x with an 11-28 cassette. Shimano GRX shifting keeps the shifting crisp and supple, and it tracks perfectly across the SRAM 12s cassette for the widest chain/cassette/chainring compatibility with the best cable actuated shifting on the market.

We built the wheels in-house on Bitex hubs with DT R470 rims and Sapim butted spokes. These are workhorse training wheels: lively, plenty strong, and light enough for climbing. We used the GOAT road tire, GP5000s in a 32mm for the Richmond potholes and Shenandoah gravel. Rolls forever.
