Tri-Band Whip Antenna for VHF and UHF radios we sell.  Antenna is pre-tuned (i.e. it requires no tuning) and uses an NMO mount (3/4" hole).  Black coated stainless steel whip with a spring base.

• No Ground Plane required so this can be mounted pretty much anywhere.  Performance is better if mounted with a ground plane,  Ideal for plastic panels, roll bar mounts, etc.
• 2.15 dBd gain on all bands when installed with no ground plane.  Better when installed on a ground plane.

If your mounting location provides an adequate ground plane, you can save some money with our standard dual band whip antenna.

The base coil of this antenna makes it quite large and heavy but is what makes it perform so well as a NGP antenna.  It will require a sturdy mounting location.
