Between recording albums, touring, going on surf trips, and running the Costa Mesa Conceptual Art Center, Costa Mesa's Alex Knost manages to squeeze in some time to shape some select sleds.

New from BMT, this MP style sled stays true to the original Micheal Peterson design with some subtle updates. The outline is fairly wide, pulling in quickly towards the nose and trailing down to a slight diamond tail. The rails are soft for a majority of the board and a hard edge towards the tail keeps you in control through deep bottom turns. The rocker is subtle, with just a bit of flip in the nose and the bottom contour consists of a single concave that shows very early on and runs down into a double concave and finally vee out the tail.
