Inspired by a trip to New York, N is for Night captures the mysterious silhouettes and twinkling lights of the cityscape at night.  With a colour palette inspired by Maurice Sendak's In the Night Kitchen, this latest print takes Emily's Alphabet into the city.

Artist

Emily Sutton graduated with a BA in illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, having also studied at York College, and for a semester at the Rhode Island School of Design.  

Emily's work is strongly influenced by the landscape and creatures of her surroundings in the Yorkshire countryside, as well as all kinds of beautiful objects found in and around her home. These influences have formed the inspiration for a series of prints that have been published by the Penfold Press since 2008.
