A nice Bogdan trout reel, 3 1/4" in diameter with the narrower 3/4" spool width and set up for RHW. Weighs 5 ounces. Near mint condition, with a tiny bit of wear on the frame edges, just a few very faint scratches on the sideplates, and some tiny mounting marks on the foot. Very clean overall. Clear silver anodized frame and spool, with a silver anodized foot, serpentine handle, oil cap, and Bogdan nameplate. Black anodized sideplates. The spool and sideplate on the cranking side are both ventilated. The backplate has the original owner's name engraved in a small script, along with an engraved caricature of Al Ellis, a well known figure in the Arizona fly fishing community, who, I am told, helped procure reels for friends and customers. The oil port cover also has "WF7F" professionally engraved on it. Pleasing, fixed click drag. The reel packs into a brown drawstring suede leather bag.
