This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Gary Shorty, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opals. The earrings have a total of SIX Opal stones (THREE in each earring) that are carefully placed in hand cut bezel settings, while mini silver beads and twisted silver can be seen accenting for a fabulous finish. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone.
