A rare Edwardian era solid 9ct rose gold colored albert chain. This exquisite chunky antique gold watch chain is something of sheer beauty & I was so excited when I discovered this absolute gem of a watch chain at an antique fair. As you will see from the photos this chain has been intricately woven using several solid gold threads each soldered together with hand punched stars. The painstaking effort that would have gone into making this antique chain is simply incredible; we do hope the photogrpahs do this rare piece justice. We have never seen anything like this before. This chain weighs an impressive 25.5grams making this the perfect investment piece. The chain includes a fully hallmarked lobster clasp, a T Bar & an amber fob.
