A Bogdan Model #2 Salmon Reel, 3 3/4" diameter and set up for LHW. Good used condition with moderate rim rash on the frame edges (concentrated mostly in the usual "resting place"), minor cosmetic wear to the sideplates, some nicks on the crank arm, and some brassing to the drag adjuster. 1 3/8" spool width, and it weighs 13.5 oz on my scale. Black anodized side plates with a light champagne colored frame and spool. The crank handle is silver anodized as are the foot, oil port cover, poacher's knob, Bogdan nameplate, and the drag adjuster frame. "No. 2" is stamped on the side of the foot. The reel has the famous Bogdan double brake drag system and a 2:1 multiplying retrieve. No bag. Mechanically excellent with a nice loud click and a very strong drag. This reel is a great size for mid to larger size spey rods and these are hard to find in LHW. It's also in the kind of used-but-not-abused condition that won't have you fretting when you put it down on the rocks as you go to tail your next salmon.
