The Imagine, Build, Fly! Engineering Camp Book Kit is designed to bring engineering, creativity, and innovation to life through carefully curated texts that align directly to each week of camp. From chain reactions and simple machines to flight and transportation design, this collection supports students as they explore how ideas turn into inventions. These books are intentionally selected for flexible use during Morning Kick Starters to introduce key concepts or within Hands-On Headquarters to spark deeper exploration and design inspiration. Stories and informational texts help students make connections between what they read and what they build, test, and improve throughout the day. Grounded in the science of reading, this kit supports vocabulary development, comprehension, and meaningful discussion while reinforcing problem-solving, perseverance, and creative thinking. As students engage with both text and hands-on challenges, they begin to see themselves as engineers, innovators, and creators. 

Each book kit is designed to support an average group size of approximately 25 students, ensuring meaningful access and engagement for all learners. For larger groups, additional kits are recommended to maintain an interactive and inclusive literacy experience.
