JD Fabrication's Spring Under Axle (SUA) kit for the Toyota Tacoma is one of the best options for those looking to increase their rear up-travel, while also increasing articulation, over-all travel, traction and comfort. With the optional frame brace kit, get ready for an incredibly stiffer rear chassis, and added strength, including frenched leaf hangers for better clearance off road. 

Moving the leaf springs below the rear axle allows space for around 4" more up-travel, which is a weak spot on Tacomas running a Spring Over Axle (SOA) setup that only has 4-5" of up-travel to begin with. 

The SUA kit allows the axle to bump on the frame, cycling 17" of travel, and up to 19" of travel with a frame notch. 

The complete kit includes front/rear spring hangers, uniball shackles, spring perches, spring plates, brake lines, bump stops and all necessary hardware for the installation. The spring hangers, shackles, and spring plates all come powder coated black, plus any additional options selected. 

The front and rear spring hangers are 100% bolt on.  Simply remove the factory spring hangers and the new hangers bolt right into the existing holes! (some holes may need to be drilled) You will need to weld on new lower spring perches due to the SUA design which mounts the springs underneath the axle.  Grinding, welding, drilling and basic hand tools are required for complete installation.

We recommend combining the SUA kit with King 14" Freebleed shocks for silent running and amazing adjustability. For trucks on the heavier side we recommend going with the H70HD spring pack.  The standard pack works best for trucks that only run one spare tire in the back, light rear bumper and limited accessories- anything more than that and the H70HD's will be ideal.
