19th Century French Empire Style Vitrine / Display Cabinet with Ormolu Details

A stunning and large double door vitrine with ebonised columns supporting gilt busts. The cabinet is accessed by 2 glazed double doors and contains 4 variable height pine shelves. At the bottom, is a large drawer. A key is supplied for the double doors but this unfortunately doesn’t work on the drawer.

The cabinet is impressive, however there is damage worth mentioning to both sides of the cabinet. It can be seen that there is some significant splits to each side with one split on the left starting at the bottom and ending at the top. These splits really do not detract from its overall appearance and still maintains itself as a gorgeous piece.

The cabinet measures 119cm W x 42cm D x 180cm H.
