 Zack Flores is a young rising star in the San Diego shaping world. Not only is his surfing style incredibly unique, but the boards he makes are also very functional for the many types of waves that exist in Southern California. 

This log from Zack is built for speed and trim, drawing from mid-to-late 60s designs. It features a pulled back wide point, with a rounded square tail and pulled in, somewhat stubby nose. The rails are rather knifey, making this board extremely fast down the line. On the bottom, Zack has placed a rolled bottom throughout, with only the slightest bit of blended nose concave for that extra touch of lift and stability from the tip. Rocker is minimal, but has a continuous curve with a bit of flip in the nose.
