Black vinyl. Spitalfield emerged from the vibrant Chicago music scene in the late 1990s. Formed in 1998, the band consisted of Mark Rose (vocals, guitar), Dan Lowder (guitar), T.J. Minich (bass), and J.D. Romero (drums). Known for their catchy melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and energetic live performances, Spitalfield quickly gained a dedicated following within the emo and pop-punk communities. The band's debut album, "The Cloak and Dagger Club," released in 2001, set the stage for their signature sound-a blend of emotional intensity and pop-punk catchiness. However, it was their 2003 release, "Remember Right Now," that propelled them to greater heights. With standout tracks like "I Loved the Way She Said 'L.A.'" and "Five Days and Counting," the album resonated deeply with fans and critics alike, earning Spitalfield a place among the top acts of the early 2000s emo-punk movement With the 20th-anniversary vinyl reissue of "Remember Right Now", Spitalfield's music continues to inspire and resonate, proving that their place in the emo-punk pantheon remains secure.
