OUR PLANE'S STORY

Built in 1952 and assigned to Strategic Air Command, 51-0253 played a vital role in global operations, refueling bombers mid-flight during some of the most critical years of the Cold War. After retirement, it found a second life in Walter Soplata’s legendary aviation collection.

In 2024, MotoArt recovered this historic aircraft from the overgrowth of Newbury, Ohio, preserving a piece of aviation history that might have been lost forever. Now, you can carry a part of that incredible story in your own collection.
