The Marsden M-605 is a Class III and MDD Approved hoist weighing attachment, designed for larger hoists that have coat hanger shaped spreader bars.

MHRA requirements now stipulate that hoist scales and weighing equipments must be approved by the Medical Devices Directive (MDD); with their MDD approvals, the Marsden M-600 and M-605 are the only hoist attachments that are legal for use in the UK.

At 730mm wide, the M-605 is 10cm longer than the M-600, and the ideal hoist scale for use in care homes and the community. The capacity is 200kg and graduations are to 100g.

The M-605 is easy to use - it simply clips onto your hoist and is ready to use. Hold, Tare and BMI functions along with a clear digital display make weighing patients easy. It’s also lightweight and portable, and is available with an optional carry case. Battery power means no wires to the mains.

This version contains Bluetooth that allows the scale to be connected to systems, databases, tablets, smartphones and PCs.
