This cluster ring is a superb example of the high degree of technical prowess attained by jewellers in the early 20th century, with each of its stone settings painstakingly cut by hand. The octagonal step-cut amethyst at its centre is haloed by a glittering double border of antique circular-cut diamonds, in stippled millegrain borders.
