A very scarce Meek 54 fly reel made by the Horton Manufacturing Company in Bristol, Connecticut. Approximately 2 7/8" diameter and set up for RHW. The reel weighs 5.3 ounces with a line loaded on it. Good used condition with normal cosmetic wear throughout, with some loss of finish. A cortland line sticker is affixed to the backplate. Nice mechanical shape with a pleasing click and no spool wobble. Telephone style latch. A hard to find reel that's ready for plenty more fishing.
