The Isle of Iona is a tiny Inner Hebridean island that has a long illustrious history, mainly known for its Abbey & is quoted as ‘The Cradle of Christianity’ in Scotland. Pilgrims & tourists visit every year to see the Abbey and the island. It is remarked that everyone leaves feeling peaceful and restored. Iona is only 1.5 miles wide by 3 miles long, with a population of around 170 permanent residents. This picturesque island is home to many different species of wild flowers and creatures with an array of sealife on & around the island's coast.
