The ri-scope® LED E.N.T. otoscope features advanced technology from Riester, one of the top brands in medical diagnostics. Incorporating new, energy efficient LEDs and a Lithium-Ion battery, the ri-scope® is a long-lasting, durable otoscope.

The LED bulb has a lifetime of 100,000 hours (compared with only 20-30 hours for halogen bulbs), dramatically cutting maintenance costs over the lifetime of the device. It has a Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of over 90, which allows the user to see in true colour, aiding in the accurate diagnosis of conditions.

The Lithium-Ion battery is lightweight, making extended use of the ri-scope® more comfortable for the user, reducing strain on the hand and wrist. Each full charge of the battery gives 50 hours continuous use and the battery has up to 1,200 charge cycles (equivalent to 60,000 hours use) before needing to be replaced.

rheotronic® light-intensity adjustment is included in the ri-scope®, allowing for continual brightness adjustment.

Specula can be easily ejected with the SpecEjec® button without contact between the user and specula, which improves hygiene for the patient and practitioner.
