Needling Made Easy:
1. Pick your needle based on what your skin needs.
• Use 12-pin for general texture and collagen support, or 42-pin for deeper product delivery and more intensive results.
• If you’re just infusing serum (not creating microchannels), nano needles are perfect. The round nano is best for full-face gentle infusion, while the square nano is more precise for areas like fine lines or under the eyes.
2. Start with a clean face.
Wash your face thoroughly, tone if you’d like, and apply a layer of serum—like exosomes, PDRN, or peptides—before using the device. This helps the pen glide smoothly and boosts absorption.
3. Movement: gentle circles or criss-cross.
Yes—use light circular motions or a crosshatch pattern (“+”). Just try not to go over the same area more than 3–4 passes when using actual microneedles, since overworking the skin can lead to irritation. Nanos are gentler but still don’t overdo it.
4. Depth setting:
For facial treatments, 0.25–0.5 mm is the sweet spot depending on skin thickness and sensitivity. Deeper settings should be used with caution or on the body, not the face.
5. Aftercare is everything!
After your session, use a calming mask or serum right away—and definitely wear SPF if you’re going outside. Your skin is most absorbent during the first 24 to 72 hours after microneedling, because the micro-channels created are still open. Research shows that these channels start closing after 12–24 hours in open air, but can remain open up to 72 hours under occlusion (like when you apply a serum and seal it in).
That’s why it’s actually better to use more than one ampoule during that immediate window—rather than trying to stretch one vial over several days. Your skin’s permeability is highest right after treatment, which means actives like PDRN, exosomes, and peptides absorb more deeply and work more effectively during that time. Just make sure the skin isn’t overly irritated, and keep everything super gentle and hydrating.
