The innovative saddle tree features a distinctive U-shaped structure that separates the rider’s seat from the horse’s contact area, providing excellent shock absorption while maintaining close contact. Two stirrup bar positions allow for ideal leg placement depending on the discipline, supported by discipline-specific flaps designed for optimal support and freedom: the dressage flap is narrow with a large knee roll, the jumping flap is more forward-cut with a soft front block and optional Velcro roll, and the trekking flap is wider, offering more leg room and secure hold out on the trail. The award-winning saddle tree, developed by Martin Ryan, distributes pressure evenly across the horse’s back thanks to a continuous weight-bearing surface, while its flexible rear panels offer adaptability and freedom of movement. The shock-absorbing design reduces jarring or uncontrolled motion, helping to protect the horse’s back over time, and when the rider sits down, the saddle channel opens slightly to relieve pressure at the front and allow full shoulder rotation. If needed, the saddle tree can also be adjusted using gullet width wedges for horses with especially high withers or broad backs, making this saddle an excellent choice for sensitive horses.
