Description:

This spring is designed for Porsche 915 shifters and drastically improves the mechanical feeling. It provides the perfect amount or centering spring tension which keeps the shifter aligned with 3rd and 4th gear. This realignment helps reduce the risk of “money shifting” from 5th to 2nd, or 3rd to 2nd.

If you’re looking to upgrade the feeling of your shifter but don’t want to spend $600+ on a Wevo, this is a great alternative. See our video of the before and after to see the improvement over stock.

Installation time: ~ 30-60 minutes

• Installation is quite straight forward and can be done in a matter of minutes depending on your car setup. We’ve included a video and a step by step can be found below.

Installation Steps + Video:

• Step 1: Remove your center console (This takes the most amount of time out of the entire process. Skip if you don’t have one)

• Step 2: Remove the bolts on your shifter

• Step 3: Flip shifter over and hold in vise (not too tight)

• Step 4: Remove the yellow clip (A - in image)

• Step 5: Push the bolt to the right (B - in image)

• Step 6: Put the spring on the bolt with the ring side

• Step 7: Push the bolt back to it’s original position

• Step 8: Put the yellow clip back on

• Step 9: Use pliers, vice grips, or a flat head screwdriver with a notch to take the other leg of the spring and push it in it’s final position via the hook and tab. Make sure it’s properly locked in (C - in image)

• Step 10: Apply a little grease to the spring and connection points and reassemble
