'Rhizome' is a raw puerh tea comprised of tea material sourced from a single forest in Xishuangbanna in Yunnan, China. With a deceptively subtle upfront flavour, this raw puerh is low in bitterness with a thick mouthfeel, complex fragrance, and a strong sweetness that sticks around after drinking. The strength of this tea will increase as it ages.

This particular tea is compressed slightly tighter than our other productions - the use of a tea knife is recommended.

2017 spring and autumn tea material produced in Yunnan, China.

200g per compressed cake, with 5 cakes per traditionally wrapped bamboo tong. 25g samples are cut or broken from the cakes and sealed into bags.
