Mode of Action of Main Ingredients

• Carduus marianus: Painful liver swelling, jaundice, gallstones, cholangitis
• Chelidonium: Liver swelling with pressure sensation in liver and gallbladder extending to right shoulder blade, cholagogue action
• Cholesterinum: Liver enlargement, jaundice, gallstone formation
• Colocynthis: Cramping abdominal pains, sensitivity to pressure on abdomen, improves with strong pressure and bending over
• Lycopodium: Bloating and flatulence, bitter mouth taste, irritability, constipation
• Nux vomica: Anxiety, liver congestion, nausea, tobacco abuse effects, jaundice, gastro-duodenal inflammation, constipation

Dosage

Generally 3 times a day, take 10-15 drops in water before meals.

If no improvement occurs within 8-14 days, take 10-15 drops 4-6 times a day and reduce the dose as symptoms improve. After symptoms disappear completely, continue with 10-15 drops 1-3 times daily for a longer period while following a strict diet.

Remarks

• In inflammatory liver and gallbladder diseases, use R1 as well
• In simultaneous gastric diseases such as gastritis or ulcers, use R5 as well
• For ulcers, take 10-15 drops of R5 three times daily before meals and 10-15 drops of R7 two to four times daily between meals
• In hemorrhoids, use R13 as well
