A John Bradford Legacy model bamboo fly rod, 7'9", 3-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #5 line. Medium full flexing action. Good used condition with some basic cosmetic wear from use but no major issues that I can find (there is a small and relatively minor hook dig above the second guide up on the mid). The rod is straight and the ferrule fits are good. Inked "JA Bradford Mod. 791511", "Legacy", "7'9" 4 3/8 ounces", and "SN. 1650" on successive flats above the grip on the butt. Medium wheatstraw cane one in a three up node pattern. Wrapped light brown with gold tipping throughout, and the butt has three small gold intermediate wraps. Agate stripping guide. Oxidized ferrules which retain almost all of their oxidation.  6 1/4" grip shaped to a medium blunt cigar profile. Downlocking screwlock seat with an end pocket cap, which is oxidized and somewhat faded. The pocket cap is slightly loose but is pinned on and doesn't appear to be going anywhere. The rod packs into a canvas bag and aluminum tube with brass fittings which I suspect were not original to this rod. A nice option here if you want a Bradford to take out fishing and not worry about it.
