Concrete Mix is a high-performance, fast-setting structural repair material. Apply Concrete Mix from 2” to 24” thick. Use for general and structural concrete repair, construction of pavements, formed work, footings, setting posts, industrial floors and machine bases. Conforms to: ASTM C387, C928.

Rapid Set® CONCRETE MIX is a high-performance, fast-setting concrete repair material designed for general and structural repairs. It is ideal for pavements, footings, formed work, setting posts, industrial floors, machine bases, and is particularly suited for airport and military pavement repairs. It is durable in wet environments and gains strength rapidly, making it suitable for time-sensitive construction tasks.

This product is used on its own or in conjunction with specific admixtures from the Rapid Set line:

• Rapid Set® FLOW Control: For increased fluidity and workability.
• Rapid Set® SET Control: For extending working time.
• For thinner applications, Rapid Set® Cement All® or Rapid Set® Mortar Mix is recommended instead of CONCRETE MIX.

Suitable for applications between 2" to 24" (5 cm to 61 cm) thick. It is not intended for use in layers on flatwork and should be installed full-depth, progressing horizontally. CONCRETE MIX should not be used in areas with prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 212°F (100°C).

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sound surfaces free from contaminants. Surface must be roughened and saturated with no standing water before application.
• Mixing: Use 3.5 to 4.0 quarts (3.3 to 3.8 L) of clean potable water per 60-lb bag for DOT or critical use. A maximum of 4.5 quarts (4.3 L) for general use. Mix 1–3 minutes for lump-free consistency. Do not retemper.
• Installation: Trowel, float, or broom finish. Do not layer in flatwork; full-depth sections are necessary. Avoid frozen surfaces. Use cold water or SET Control to delay setting in warm conditions.
• Temperature Ranges: Apply between 45°F to 90°F (7°C to 32°C).
• Pot Life & Curing Time: Sets in approximately 15 minutes. Traffic-ready in 1 hour. Water-based coatings can be applied after 4 hours; solvent-based or impermeable coatings after 16 hours.
• Curing: Keep surfaces wet for at least 1 hour after hardening begins. Longer curing may be needed in cold conditions or with retarders.

• Coverage/Yield: One 60-lb (27.2 kg) bag yields approximately 0.5 ft³ (0.01 m³).
• Shelf Life: 12 months when stored dry and protected from moisture and sunlight.
• Environmental Impact: Contains Rapid Set cement, which emits less CO₂ than Portland cement.
• UV Stability: Not specified; primarily for structural and internal concrete repair.
• Thickness Limit: Minimum thickness of 2 inches, maximum 24 inches.
