The principal sapphire is secured in an 18ct white gold claw setting with open back-holing, allowing light to enhance its depth of colour. It is flanked by two trillion-cut (triangular) diamonds, with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, each set in finely detailed grain settings that flow seamlessly into the shoulders of the 18ct yellow gold band.
