Jeju Millet is prized for its darker color and unique grain shapes compared to Chinese varieties. Despite being a small grain, it is rich in flavonoids, dietary fiber, and vitamins, making it a beauty food with antioxidant properties.

제주기장은 중국산과 달리 진한 색과 고르지 않은 알갱이가 특징이며, 플라보노이드와 식이섬유, 비타민이 풍부해 항산화 효과가 뛰어난 뷰티 푸드입니다.

For the best color and texture, soak the millet in water for 20 minutes before cooking. On the stovetop, use water about 3/4 to 1 inch above the grains, bring to a boil without the lid, then simmer covered for 10 minutes. Turn off heat and let steam for another 10 minutes.

밥을 짓기 전 20분 정도 물에 불리면 더욱 고운 노란 색을 낼 수 있습니다. 가스레인지에서는 쌀 위로 3/4~1인치 정도 물을 붓고, 뚜껑 없이 끓이다 끓으면 약불로 줄여 10분 간 익히고, 불을 끈 후 10분간 뜸들여 주세요.
