A new Beaverkill model fly reel from Fred Balling at the Perfection Fly Reel Company. 3" diameter done in a raised pillar designs. The weight is approximately 4 ounces and the spool width is 1 1/16". Designed to hold #4,5, or #6 lines depending on the amount of backing used. Delrin side plates with an aluminum foot and nickel silver pillars. Fairly neutral bias though perhaps favoring LHW slightly. A switch on the faceplate disengages the drag. "Perfection" is etched into the faceplate. On the top part of the foot crossbar "010" and "FBG" has been hand etched into the surface. Comes in a burlap drawstring pouch and a lightweight cardboard box with paperwork which explains the reel in more detail.
