Meredew, Mid Century Light Oak Compactum / Gentleman’s Wardrobe

A lovely, rarely seen compactum manufactured by Meredew and labelled as so within the wardrobe door.

The compactum is in relatively good condition although does have some damage commensurate with use. The damage which should be mentioned revolves around some slight fading across the external surfaces of the piece, a small dent to the top of the right hand side, a small black blemish to the top at rear as well as some dry wood that is slightly splintering on the top right edge. It should also be mentioned that the top drawer is fitted with a hinged vanity mirror which has slightly split the wood at the back of the drawer. This has been reinforced by a metal plate to prevent any further damage.

The compactum measures 94cm W x 47cm D x 132cm H.
