Spa Frog Mineral Cartridge For Bromine or Chlorine Systems

Spa Frog uses patented mineral-bed technology to destroy bacteria. Its revolutionary process significantly improves the look, feel and smell of your spa water, by dramatically reducing bromine or chlorine requirements. What makes the Frog so different? Filter Frog uses a proprietary blend of minerals to prevent chemical build up on the Silver beads. This allows the minerals their compatibility with bromine systems. This also allows a more consist release of mineral sanitizer into your water and thus reduces the demand for bromine up to 50%.   

Your Spa Frog mineral cartridge is easily installed into the center of your filter. Before installing, set your black dial ahead 3-4 months so you know when its time to replace your cartridge (or sign up for our auto ship program and never forget again!). Smaller spas of 200-400 gallons can get away with replacement every 4 months. Larger spa 400-600 gallons should replace their Filter Frog every 3 months. Also, remember when inserting into the filter, insert with the cartridge portion in the up position. This allows for optimal water flow through the cartridge. The mineral cartridge is for use in any hot tub, especially for those using bromine based systems, however highly recommended for Jacuzzi’s J-200 Collection Hot Tubs regardless of system. For J-300, J-400, LX, or J-500 Collection Hot Tubs using chlorine we recommend using the ProClear Mineral Sanitizer as it installs conveniently into the cap of your filter.
