Nate Crewdson is a local Southern California based shaper who has a great eye for design. His Grouper Fish is inspired by Rob Machado's Go Fish which is unique for its side cut outline and dual channel. This is a relatively low volume 5'5" fish as it's slightly narrow and thin which allows it to be extremely responsive. The side cut flare provide a great amount of hold through turns. A rider can vary their pivotability greatly by shifting their back foot in roughly a one foot range: forward allows the rider to bank smooth, drawn out turns while shifting ones foot backwards allows for more pivotal, critical maneuvers.
