This Flowmaster® Flow FX cat-back exhaust system is for the 1996-1999 GM 1500 trucks with the 5.7-liter engine. This system is manufactured using durable 409 stainless steel tubing and is mandrel bent for better exhaust gas flow. A Flow FX Series muffler is used for an improved sound level and maximum performance. This system uses dual 4.0-inch black ceramic coated tips that exit on the passenger side of the truck, just in front of the rear wheel. The system uses all the existing factory hanger locations and includes installation instructions and all necessary hardware for an easy installation that you can do at home. This exhaust kit is designed to fit 1500 and some 2500LD trucks with both left and right bank catalytic converters on the engine side of the 3-bolt flange of the down pipe. If your C/K 2500 truck has one catalytic converter on the engine side of the 3-bolt flange and one catalytic converter on the muffler side of the 3 bolt flange this kit will not work.
