Balloon Cushioned wheels have a rounded rubber treaded molded to an aluminum core. The rounded tread minimizes friction and enables the wheel to turn easily. This wheel offers the best shock absorbing, cushioned ride available of rubber wheels. It rolls easily over debris and small obstructions, such as electrical cords. This caster wheel also has superior floor protection, ultra-quiet rolling, and is non marking. The down side is this wheel has lower capacities than other rubber wheels. For higher capacity wheels with similar characteristic, check out our thermoplastic rubber wheels.

We would not recommend these wheels for applications that require sitting in one spot for long periods of time under heavy loads.
